Fantasy cricket: how contest settlement works

Fantasy contests on Spin Winner settle on real match outcomes. Here is how team selection, captain points and leaderboard math translate into final rankings.

A fantasy cricket contest on the Spin Winner app starts with a player budget. You pick 11 players within the salary cap and choose a captain and vice-captain. The captain scores double points; the vice-captain scores 1.5x. These multipliers are the same across most contests.

Points are awarded per ball faced, per wicket, per catch, per stumping and per run-out. The exact scoring table lives inside the contest card before you join. The published scoring table is the authoritative source - never assume a number from a third-party guide.

Settlement follows the official match scorecard from the data provider. If a match is abandoned or reduced in overs, contests are settled according to the rules inside the contest card. Rain rules, super-over rules and DLS calculations vary by contest.

Leaderboard math is straightforward: total points scored by all your selected players, with captain and vice-captain multipliers applied, ranks you against every other entry in the contest. Prize distribution is published before the contest locks.

Fantasy contests are regulated differently across Indian states. The access page shows the authoritative eligibility screen for your state. If the screen warns you, the operator cannot legally serve the contest in your state.
